Good Morning From Lutz.

It feels like the whole community is easing into the holiday season, from the lights and concerts at The Shops at Wiregrass to the festive rush at the outlets, and all the cozy local spots in between. Places like the Lutz Whistle Stop Depot are decking out our corner north of Tampa with that small-town holiday charm.

As we kick things off, let’s show up for one another, support the small businesses that make our neighborhoods shine, and celebrate the people who make our corner of Florida feel like home. It’s the perfect time to give back, spread a little kindness, and start the season on the right note.

Zephyrhills Sugar Bomb.

If I know anything about my kids, this place is going to be an absolute hit.

Cream N Crunch is opening on Co Rd 54 early next year, and it’s shaping up to be your new go-to spot for all things sweet. They’re planning more than 70 ice cream flavors between scoops and rolled ice cream, plus crepes, waffles, cheesecakes, milkshakes, smoothies, and even a few savory bites. It’s a small shop with a handful of tables, but it sounds like the kind of place you’ll pop into after dinner or on a Saturday afternoon with the kids.

They’re aiming for a February opening, and we’ll keep you posted as construction continues in that little plaza near Stadium Drive.

Suncoast Charging Plots Major Local Expansion

Suncoast Charging just opened its first EV fast-charging site at The Hub at Bexley in Land O’ Lakes, and the next one is already planned for Lexington Oaks in Wesley Chapel early next year. The company says it will add about 20 more stations in 2026, bringing a strong wave of Tesla-powered charging options to our area.

Jingle Jamboree at Citrus Park Town Center

Citrus Park Town Center is inviting local choirs, musicians, dancers, karate teams, and community groups to take the stage for this year’s Jingle Jamboree on December 6 from 11am to 3pm, a family-friendly holiday celebration filled with performances and festive cheer.

Stella (A038983) is a 7-year old black female American Bulldog. Stella was brought into PCAS as a stray in September, and the shelter environment has been pretty tough for her. Stella has lost weight, and is showing signs of kennel stress & depression. Despite that, she is the sweetest dog you might ever meet. Stella is gentle and meanders at her own pace. She enjoys chilling out with her person – Stella is an office foster and spends her days napping & enjoying some snuggles. She is perfect for an older person, or someone who is looking for a lower-energy dog. Stella doesn’t mind having her paws cleaned or touched. She is perfect.
