Two Rivers Development Booming
The 6,000-acre Two Rivers project is picking up serious momentum, especially on the Pasco side. Hundreds of homes are already built, and big additions are underway — including a Publix, a $27M private club, a district park (85 acres, $18M), new K-8 and high school sites, and the Tampa Bay region’s first-ever surf park.
Home sales are rapid across communities like Childers, Northwater, and Archer, with prices ranging from the $300Ks to over $1 million. Most residential development is expected to be complete within 2–3 years.
A full breakdown includes over 6,500 housing units, 1.3M sq. ft. each of retail, office, and industrial space, 480 hotel rooms, and a 300-bed assisted living facility. The Hillsborough side (south of SR 56) will eventually include a private 18-hole golf course.

✅ Correct Answer: Ehren. It had its own post office and sawmill in the early 1900s, but it was never part of Wesley Chapel. You can still see its name today on Ehren Cutoff, which runs through Land O’ Lakes.

TSA May Let You Keep Your Shoes On Soon
Big change could be coming to Tampa International and other Florida airports: no more shoe removal at security.
The Department of Homeland Security says it’s confident that upgraded tech can safely screen travelers with their sneakers still on. The shift is already rolling out at some airports and may soon expand statewide. TSA agents can still ask you to remove shoes if needed, but overall, we don’t have to see the holes in your old socks!
Ashley Furniture Grand Opening This Saturday
Ashley’s new Odessa location is celebrating big on Saturday, July 12, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The first 25 people in line get Bose headphones ($300 value), and there’s over $10,000 in giveaways, including an electric bike.
Wesley Chapel 10U All-Stars Make History
For the first time ever, a Wesley Chapel Athletic Association baseball team is heading to regionals. The 10U All-Stars will compete in the Cal Ripken Southeast Regional Tournament July 15–20 in Virginia, representing Florida alongside just nine other teams from the Southeast.
These 9- and 10-year-olds earned their spot by winning districts, then placing as state finalists in a tough five-game tournament. The team is raising funds for travel and lodging. Donations can be made via the Wesley Chapel Baseball Facebook page or by emailing [email protected].
