Good Morning Neighbor. A woman in California has been buried in unwanted Amazon packages for over a year. Hundreds of car seat covers meant for return, all shipped to her home by mistake. It sounds less like a shipping error and more like something Scientology would cook up for “suppressive persons”.

Pebble Creek Rezoning Blocked!

Big win for neighbors in Pebble Creek and around town as well! After years of pushing back against plans to turn the old golf course into 250 homes, a state appeals court just sided with residents and Hillsborough County to stop the rezoning.

The golf course closed a few years ago, but local group Save Pebble Creek, led by longtime resident Leslie Green, has been fighting to protect the land from development. After a lower court briefly gave the green light to GL Homes, the county appealed, and now the Second District Court of Appeal has officially overturned that decision.

Commissioner Ken Hagan thanked neighbors for their support and even said the county might consider buying the land to create a public golf course. Green is hopeful too, saying the community is open to working with the current landowner if it means protecting the space and avoiding environmental disruption.

No word yet from GL Homes or the Pebble Creek HOAs, but this round goes to the residents.

Pasco County Animal Services Presents: Vito

Vito (A035080) is a 7 year-old neutered male boxer/pittie mix. Vito is such a gentleman! He has been on several field trips recently and did amazingly with other dogs and children. In addition to being good with other dogs, Vito has a history of being good with cats, loves cuddles, likes to sleep on the couch, is great with babies, and is housetrained. Vito is being overlooked in his kennel, despite being a great dog.

Cookie Plug Drops a Sweet Surprise at The Grove

If you like your cookies thick, bold, and packed with flavor, you’re going to love this. Cookie Plug just opened its third Florida location on June 28, and it’s in Wesley Chapel next to Ice Dreammm Shop at The Grove. They kicked things off with a DJ, free samples, and an Opening Day deal that had people walking out with boxes stacked high.

Founded in California and inspired by graffiti culture, Cookie Plug serves up cookie-cake-brownie hybrids in flavors like s’mores, strawberry cheesecake, and red velvet. They’ve also got keto options, ice cream sandwiches, and wild rotating flavors.

Zephyrhills Joins Global Skydiving Record Attempt

I'm not sure if you were there, but Skydive City in Zephyrhills was buzzing on Saturday. Skydivers from all over came out to be part of World Skydiving Day, aiming to break a global record for most jumps in a single day, last year’s mark was over 30,000.

Even if they didn’t break the record, the energy was sky-high. Some jumpers said it’s the one time they feel totally in the moment. No stress, no distractions, just the wind and the view.

Endless Updates from TPA

Tampa International is speeding things up again. The new Red Express Curbside opens mid-August and works just like the Blue Express. It’s designed for travelers with carry-ons and mobile boarding passes, letting you skip ticketing and head straight to security.

It’ll also be the new pickup spot for Uber and Lyft. Fast, easy, and made for people on the go.
