Good Morning From Lutz. Austria’s been on moose watch lately thanks to Emil, a wandering giant that’s been strolling through towns blocking train lines. I don’t know about those moose… meese? But I do know a gator would probably just leave us alone.

What’s up with this weird Wednesday newsletter? I do want to apologize for not running this by you but I have been thinking Wednesday might be a better option than Tuesday. Feel free to let me know I’m wrong.

Pasco County Animal Services Presents: June

June (A036781) is a 2-year old spayed female Rottie Mix who is having a difficult time at the shelter. She is not aggressive, but she is very much stressed out over being locked in a kennel. June’s former owners moved out of state and left her astray. June previously lived in a home with children and is good with other dogs. However, June is known to have separation anxiety. The ideal home for June is one where she can receive some training – she’s very sweet but lacks some manners and she lacks confidence.

Piccolo Buco is here!

This is pretty exciting.

Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk is bringing its Roman-style Neapolitan pizza to Florida, with new locations coming soon in Carrollwood Commons. It’s almost completed at 14904 N Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL, 33618. The pies are known for their tall, airy crust and perfect wine pairings. Just don’t tell Dave Portnoy or he’ll be down here in a heartbeat with a camera and a “one bite” review.

Papichy’s is Open on Wesley Chapel Blvd

Big news for Venezuelan food lovers: Papichy’s has opened its first brick-and-mortar spot at Grand Oaks Plaza (26242 Wesley Chapel Blvd, Lutz). The Caridad family, known for their popular food trucks, now brings their famous pastelitos, empanadas, tequeños, and mandocas to a permanent Wesley Chapel location.

From guava and cheese pastelitos to savory beef and chicken varieties, everything is crispy, flavorful, and made to share. If you haven’t tried them yet, this is a perfect time to stop in and taste why Papichy’s has built such a loyal following.

Hockey in Wesley Chapel

If you are itching for some hockey, we are lucky enough to have a big NHL Prospect Tournament happening at AdventHealth Center Ice. The Lightning’s young guys will be out there playing the Hurricanes, Panthers, and Predators. It’s a fun way to get your hockey fix before preseason even starts.
