Good Morning Neighbor,
Pretty typical Florida week. Warm afternoons, comfortable mornings, nothing too crazy.
We had a European take the win at Innisbrook, and March Madness stayed pretty calm until Iowa shook things up Sunday night in Tampa. Always something.
Have a great week!

Big Win at Innisbrook This Weekend
A big one right in our backyard. The Valspar Championship wrapped up at Innisbrook Resort, and it delivered one of the better finishes we’ve seen there in a while.
Matt Fitzpatrick came from three shots back on Sunday to win it at 11-under, locking it up with a clutch birdie on 18.

Meanwhile, Sungjae Im, who led most of the weekend, couldn’t hang on after a rough start to his final round.
If you’ve ever walked the Copperhead Course, you know how tough that closing stretch is. Seeing it decide a tournament like that is about as good as it gets locally.

New Spot “Farmers Milk” Coming to Wesley Chapel
Another new restaurant is on the way to Wesley Chapel. A concept called Farmers Milk is currently under construction at Halter Loop and expected to join a growing lineup of new spots in the area.
Details are still pretty limited for now, but plans have officially been filed and the project is moving forward. Based on the name, you can probably expect something dairy-focused, but we’ll have to wait and see what they roll out.

It’ll be part of a new retail center alongside places like golf simulators, a tropical grill, and a dessert shop, so that stretch is shaping up to be a solid little hub.
Food From The Soul Festival Returns
If you’re looking for something a little different next weekend, this one leans heavily into food and culture.
The Food From The Soul Festival is back for its third year on Saturday, March 28 from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, bringing together vendors across African, Caribbean, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, and American cuisines. One of the highlights is the ability to sample dishes for around $5 or less, making it easy to try a variety of foods without committing to a full plate.
There’s also a VIP experience with curated wine pairings, along with live entertainment and local vendors throughout. Definitely a “come hungry” kind of event.

Air Taxis Could Be Coming To Tampa
This one feels a little futuristic, but it’s actually starting to move forward.
Tampa Bay is part of a new federal program testing “air taxis,” small electric aircraft that take off like helicopters and could eventually carry passengers across the region. Early plans are focused along the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, with testing expected to begin this summer.
It’s still early, and infrastructure like landing hubs would need to be built first, but the long-term idea is to create faster ways to get around without sitting in traffic.
Pasco Museum Needs New Home
This is one of those places you might not realize we even have, but it’s pretty unique.
The MAPS Museum in New Port Richey is running out of space and needs to find a new home by the end of the year to protect thousands of artifacts, including fossils, shipwreck items, and even a dinosaur egg. Museum leaders say they need a much larger, safer space and are working to raise about $300,000 to help make the move happen.
It’s currently the only natural history museum in the Tampa Bay area, so the push now is to keep it going and make it more accessible for the community.
Antonio Brown’s Odessa Mansion Hits the Market
A headline-grabbing home just popped up locally. Former Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown’s Odessa mansion is now on the market after being surrendered as part of a bankruptcy settlement.

The 9,300+ sq ft waterfront property on Dolce Vita Lane includes six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, pool and spa, private dock, and even a climate-controlled 11-car garage. It’s currently listed at just under $4 million.
It’s not every day a home with this kind of backstory hits the local market, especially one this over-the-top.

Pasco County Animal Services Presents: Chowder

Chowder (A044186) is a pint-sized neutered male mixed breed – he’s a year and two months old, weighing 34 pounds. Chowder came to PCAS as a stray when he wandered into a citizen’s yard and basically tried to make it his new home. He’s a lovable pup who loves to explore while out on a walk. He sniffs eeeevvvverything! If you have an existing dog at home, we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet with Chowder to make sure they would be compatible.
